density of liquid ρ1=specific gravity of liquid X density of water
=1.5× 1
=1.5 gcc1
If V is the volume of the body, then weight of body in water= weight of body in air - upthrust of liquid
g=50 gV X ρw X g
or  V=50-40
=10 cc
Weight of body in liquid = weight of body in air upthrust of liquid
             =50 gV ρ1 g
             5010× 1.5
             =35 g
