Right Answer is: A

SOLUTION

In amplitude modulation, input signal is added to the pure carrier wave, it will thereby change the frequency of the carrier wave.

The equation of sinusoidal AM modulated wave is:

\(c\left( t \right) = {A_c}\left( {1 + \mu \;{\rm{cos}}{\omega _m}t} \right)\cos {\omega _c}t\)

From the above signal the magnitude of carrier wave is Ac(1 + μ cos ωmt) which depends on modulating signal.
