Right Answer is: B

SOLUTION

Given:

V1 = 1000 cm3, V2 = 995 cm3, k = ?

Bulk modulus (K) \( = \frac{{ - {\rm{\Delta }}P}}{{\left( {\frac{{{\rm{\Delta }}V}}{V}} \right)}}\)

ΔV = change in volume = V2 – V1

ΔP = change in pressure = P2 – P1

∴ \(k = \frac{{ - \left( {2 - 1} \right)}}{{\frac{{\left( { - 1000 + 995} \right)}}{{1000}}}}\)

k = 200 MPa
