A.

SiO24

B.

SiO67

Right Answer is: D

SOLUTION

Amphiboles consists of double chains.

The parallel chains are held together by shared oxygen atoms. The metal ions again hold the chains together. The simple chains are linked through oxygen atoms so that half the tetrahedral share two oxygen atoms while the other half share three oxygen atoms.
