Right Answer is: A
SOLUTION
For Series connection:
- I = I1 = I2
- V = V1 + V2
- R = R1 + R2
For Parallel connection:
- I = I1 + I2
- V = V1 = V2
- \(\frac{1}{R} = \frac{1}{{{R_1}}} + \frac{1}{{{R_2}}}\)
Here R1 = R2 = 20Ω
\(\frac{1}{R} = \frac{1}{{{R_1}}} + \frac{1}{{{R_2}}} = \frac{1}{{20}} + \frac{1}{{20}} = \frac{1}{{10}} \Rightarrow R = 10{\rm{\Omega }}\)
