SOLUTION

By using Euler's formula for polyhedron
From, V = 12, E = 18 and F = y
So, F + V - E = 2
⇒ y + 12 - 18 = 2
⇒  y - 6 = 2
⇒    y = 2 + 6
⇒    y = 8
