Whose first term, a = 2

Common difference, d = 3

Hence by using the formula for nth term,

An = a + (n-1) × d

Where An = nth term

a = first term

d = common difference

n = number of terms

⇒ A12 = 2 + (12 – 1) × 3

⇒ A12 = 2 + 11 × 3

⇒ A12 = 2 + 33 = 35
