= 0.003 km

Speed of river = 2 km/hr

Hence, the volume flow rate of the river = Width × depth × speed of river

= 0.04 × 0.003 × 2

= 0.00024 km³/hr

We know that, 1 km³ = 10¹² liters

And 1 hour = 60 minutes

Thus,

= (0.00024 × 10¹²)/60 lts/min
