Volume of dry concrete = 1.54 × Volume of wet concrete
Bulk density of cement = 1440 kg/m3
Calculation:
Volume of mix = 15 m3
Mix proportion = 1 : 1.5 : 2.5
Dry volume of mix = 1.54 × 15 = 23.51 m3
Let cement = x, F.A = 1.5 x, C.A = 2.5x
5 x = 23.1 m3
x = 4.62 m3
1.5 x (F.A) = 6.93 m3 ≈ 6.90 m3
